The Way Forward represents the moment when returning to the person we once were is no longer possible and the only choice is to continue.
Through heavy impasto, palette-knife application, dragged pigment and vertical drips, the artist constructs a dark landscape that feels both physical and emotional. Towering forms close around a narrow central passage, while silver and gold accents emerge from the black surface like brief signs of light.
The path is not painted with certainty; it appears to be discovered while moving through it. This is the courage required to build a future without knowing exactly where it will lead. It is the moment when the immigrant stops merely surviving change and begins choosing what comes next.
